Stock# 12CM..."Delco Starting, Lighting and Ignition Systems As Used On 1912 Cadillac Motor Cars"/ measures 7.5 by 5.25 inches/ black and white/ contains 24 pages/ features lots of great schematics/ one vertical crease throughout/ modest soiling throughout/ shows some wear but overall presents well/ page 3-4 has small upper portion missing but it appears that no written or pictorial material was lost with this.

One of the most important inventions that made automobiles practical was the self-starter. The first practical electric self-starter was patented in 1911 by Delco, Dayton Electric Laboratories Company. The first application of this starter was on 1912 Cadillacs.
