to be ready for the big event--Introduction Day! In order to have the showroom and grounds ready, the dealers had to do their homework way ahead of time. They received an announcement materials package in the spring. They ordered the promotional material that they wanted or could afford and hoped that everything arrived in time for the big introduction day. Offered here is just such an announcement--a 9 by 15.5 inch materials mailer envelope entitled 1986 Lincoln and Mercury Showroom and Merchandising Materials. This item has never been opened but will contain all of the material described below plus various items for the Lincoln Continental line including Mark VII as this item was intended for Lincoln Mercury dealerships. Enclosure One is a folder with a pocket containing two folders (A) features color and upholstery book and stand for same, showroom signs and service department signs and (B) features illustrations and order numbers for premiums and gifts/ Enclosure Two, Three and Four are three self-addressed postage paid envelopes for returning orders/ Enclosure Five is an order form/ Enclosure Six is a comprehensive order form which also includes Lincoln Continental items/ models offered that year were Marquis, Topaz, Cougar and Sable/ lots of eye candy and historical information in here for serious collectors.
