Package Deal For Two Chrysler Plymouth Items
Stock# 88CP...Each year when the new cars come out, a press kit is handed out to the press at press conferences (often held at auto shows) as well as being mailed across the country to various media venues. This press kit is in an unmailed envelope marked "Auto Show Edition."
We have here a media kit for the 1988 Plymouth line. This item is in new condition and was never used as it was sent to Jim Truitt, deceased, who was a graphic designer who probably designed portions of this announcement material.
Press kits usually contained lots of basic information about the new cars and included glossy photos for reproduction in newspapers, magazines or TV shots.
This item was issued on September 23, 1987, and contained numerous pages relating to Plymouth's 1988 line-up. The following cars are dealt with in much detail: Grand Voyager and Voyager, Sundance, Reliant, Horizon, Gran Fury, Caravelle, Colt and Colt Vista.
