Toy Cars

Stock# 7004...1952 Jaguar XK-120 roadster/ measures 7 inches in length and features a friction drive. When rolling this car along,  the driver raises his arm to signal a turn and then drops it down as he moves along. There is a wheel underneath that causes the car to turn. I'm not sure how that works exactly. The overall condition of this car is very nice. The lithograph on the driver and dash are of high quality...$195 ($8).

Stock# 7012...1955 Ford (more or less) with a doggie in the window. This high quality tin car measures eight inches in length. The doggie sticks his head in and out of the window and yips (squeaks) as the rear wheels turn the friction motor. This car was purchased new by an adult for his collection back in the fifties. It is in nearly new condition. It has a couple of chips on the driver's side, a couple of which are touched up with identical paint signifying to me at least that it was touched up at the manufacturing facility. A great toy car with loads of charm...$150 ($8). (p55)

Stock# 2001...1948 (approximate) British-made toy car was made during the late 40's and early 50's. It's manufacturer was Timpo Toys and it measures 4.5 inches and features a friction motor which is currently inoperable. The car has a metal chassis and a plastic body which has modest warpage. The picture here does not do this little car justice. It is very period British in style with a sunroof and is simply charming ,or should I say, cute as a button...$35 ($6).
